Sales Representative

Morgan Services, Inc. Cincinnati, OH (Onsite) Full-Time

Morgan Services, Inc., a leading supplier of medical and hospitality linen, and garment rental services, has an opening for a Sales Representative. Headquartered in Chicago, Illinois, Morgan Services markets their hospitality/healthcare linen and garment rental service to hospitality establishments (ex. restaurants, hotels, country clubs), food manufacturers, hospital and medical group networks, ambulatory surgery facilities and medical educational institutions throughout the United States.

Essential Function:

The Sales Representative is responsible for calling on healthcare-related and hospitality organizations/personnel within an assigned territory, while meeting assigned sales and profit goals.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Identify and qualify prospects by cold calling/telephone/email prospecting, on premise visits, relationship building, and networking.

• Review market analysis to determine customer needs, volume potential, and price schedules.

• Develop proposals and conduct sales presentations for prospective customers.

• Maintain accurate records of all account activity within (CRM) sales database.

• Develop and maintain a high level of product knowledge and effectively communicate the benefits, advantages and features of the company services and products.

• Develop Sales Campaigns to promote product offerings and services to prospects and current customers.

• Work with the service department to ensure that new accounts are installed properly.

• Be knowledgeable about competitors’ business practices.

• Reports to Sales Manager

Job Requirements:

Education:

High school diploma required.  Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, or related area a plus.

 

Experience:

-Minimum of 3 years outside sales experience
-Knowledge of and experience with various sales techniques.
-Preferred sales experience in medical industry.  

 

Skills/Desired Traits:

-Understanding of medical terminology

-Excellent interpersonal skills.  Demonstrated ability to work effectively with people at all levels within the company as well as with vendors and manufacturers

-Strong communication skills, including the ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

-Excellent customer relations and customer service skills.

-Strong negotiation skills.

-CRM Experience along with being highly organized, and uses time efficiently

-Virtual Sales Experience Desired

-Have a hunter mentality with a high sense of urgency

-Ability to handle a large amount of rejection.

-Ability to self-direct and manage.
